New Delhi: Bringing relief to hotels, restaurants, and small food units, oil marketing companies have announced a fresh price cut of ₹51.50 on 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders. The revised rates, effective from September 1, bring the price in Delhi down to ₹1,580 and in Kochi to ₹1,587. Domestic LPG (14.2-kg) cylinder prices remain unchanged.
This is the second consecutive reduction, following last month’s ₹33.50 cut. Together, commercial LPG prices have dropped by ₹85 within two months, offering much-needed respite for the food and hospitality sector.
