Prime Minister Pays Homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat

New Delhi: The Prime Minister paid heartfelt tributes to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, at Rajghat on Thursday, marking a moment of remembrance and reflection on Gandhiji’s enduring legacy.

The Prime Minister laid a floral wreath at the memorial and observed silence in honour of Mahatma Gandhi, whose ideals of truth, non-violence, and compassion continue to inspire India and the world. PM described Gandhiji as a guiding force whose thoughts and principles remain deeply relevant in addressing contemporary challenges.

In a message shared on the occasion, the Prime Minister said Mahatma Gandhi’s life and teachings remind the nation of the power of moral courage and peaceful resistance. PM reaffirmed the government’s commitment to upholding Gandhian values in the pursuit of social harmony, justice, and inclusive development.

Rajghat, the samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi, witnessed dignitaries and visitors paying their respects, reflecting the nation’s collective reverence for the leader who shaped India’s freedom struggle and moral vision.

The homage underscored India’s continued resolve to walk the path shown by Gandhiji—one rooted in peace, unity, and service to humanity.
