New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt wishes to the people of Kerala on the occasion of Kerala Piravi, marking the 68th anniversary of the state’s formation. Kerala Piravi, celebrated on November 1, commemorates the creation of the state of Kerala in 1956 by merging Malabar, Cochin, and Travancore.
In his message, the Prime Minister acknowledged Kerala’s rich cultural heritage, scenic landscapes, and the remarkable achievements of its people in education, healthcare, and social development. He expressed admiration for the unique identity of “God’s Own Country” and praised its contributions to the nation.
