New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on people across the country to actively participate in the newly launched ‘Your Money, Your Right’ movement, aimed at empowering citizens to demand transparency, accountability, and fairness in financial services.
Addressing the nation, the Prime Minister emphasized that every citizen has the right to clear, reliable, and accessible financial information, whether related to banking, digital payments, investments, or insurance. He highlighted that the movement will help people make informed decisions, protect themselves from fraud, and ensure that institutions uphold consumer rights.
Modi noted that as India advances rapidly in the digital financial ecosystem, it is essential for citizens to be educated about their rights and for financial institutions to maintain high standards of honesty and service. The campaign will include nationwide awareness programmes, workshops, digital resource platforms, and grievance-redressal drives.
The Prime Minister urged people—especially youth, small business owners, senior citizens, and rural communities—to join the movement and help build a transparent, accountable, and financially empowered India.
