Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate Skyroot Aerospace’s new ‘Infinity Campus’ on November 27. The state-of-the-art facility marks a major expansion for the Hyderabad-based startup, which created history by launching India’s first privately built rocket, Vikram-S, in 2022.
The Infinity Campus is expected to house advanced research labs, testing facilities, assembly units, and mission control infrastructure to support the company’s upcoming orbital launches. Officials have described the campus as a “future-ready hub” designed to accelerate innovation in India’s space technology ecosystem.
The inauguration is seen as a major acknowledgment of the role private space companies are playing following the government’s decision to open the space sector to private players.
Skyroot’s founders and key ISRO officials are expected to attend the event, which will highlight India’s vision of becoming a global leader in commercial space launches.
