New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a landmark three-day visit to Poland, marking the first visit by an Indian PM in 45 years. This visit coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations. A significant chapter in their shared history is the World War II-era, when over 6,000 Polish refugees found sanctuary in India, thanks to Maharaja Jam Saheb Digvijaysinhji of Nawanagar.
