PM Modi Vows Justice After Pahalgam Attack in ‘Mann Ki Baat’; Highlights National Unity and Global Support

In the 121st episode of his popular radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation with profound sorrow over the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed 26 innocent lives.

“There is a deep agony in my heart. The April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam has left every citizen heartbroken. Every Indian stands with the families of the victims,” the Prime Minister said, conveying the nation’s collective grief.

Condemning the attack as a desperate bid to sabotage Kashmir’s growing peace and prosperity, PM Modi said, “As schools and colleges flourished, democracy strengthened, tourism soared, and opportunities blossomed for youth, the enemies of India could not bear to see this progress.”

Reassuring the victims’ families, he pledged, “Justice will be delivered. The conspirators and perpetrators will face the harshest action possible.”

PM Modi also highlighted the outpouring of global support, stating that leaders from around the world had reached out to condemn the “heinous” attack and express solidarity with India.

Underscoring the nation’s resilience, the Prime Minister emphasized, “In the war against terrorism, the unity of our 140 crore citizens is our greatest strength.”

During his address, PM Modi also paid heartfelt tribute to veteran ISRO scientist Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan, who passed away on April 25, lauding his pioneering contributions to India’s space achievements.

Further, he mentioned India’s humanitarian efforts in sending relief aid to Myanmar, following the devastating earthquake there, reaffirming India’s commitment to global solidarity.

The Prime Minister’s address sent a strong message of determination, unity, and compassion, reflecting India’s resolve to overcome adversity and support victims of terror.
