Prime Minister Narendra Modi today unveiled a massive development package worth ₹5,100 crore in Itanagar, laying the foundation stone and inaugurating projects spanning roads, railways, power, healthcare, and education.
The initiatives are expected to transform infrastructure, create jobs, and strengthen Arunachal Pradesh’s role as India’s Act East gateway, giving a fresh push to growth and connectivity in the Northeast.
Speaking at the event, PM Modi said the projects highlight the Centre’s resolve to ensure balanced regional development, bringing the Northeast at par with the rest of the country.PM stressed that the efforts will boost tourism, trade, and opportunities for people across the state.
Reaffirming his vision of “Viksit Bharat by 2047,” the Prime Minister said Arunachal Pradesh’s potential will be unlocked through sustainable and inclusive development.
