New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday shared an article by shooter Elavenil Valarivan highlighting changes in the support provided to athletes in India.
Valarivan said support for athletes has expanded from nurturing young talent through initiatives such as Khel Mahakumbh and Khelo India to providing world-class training, modern facilities and comprehensive support at the highest levels of competition.
The Prime Minister’s Office shared the article on X, describing it as a reflection on the changing support system for Indian athletes.
