Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thurssday paid tribute to the armed forces on the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, praising their courage, precision and commitment in responding to the Pahalgam attack.
In a message posted on X, Modi said the operation reflected India’s strong stand against terrorism and highlighted the professionalism and coordinated strength of the armed forces.
The Prime Minister also urged citizens to change their social media display pictures as a mark of respect for the armed forces and their role during Operation Sindoor.
He reiterated that India remains committed to defeating terrorism and dismantling its support network.
