Seychelles: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said it was an honour to participate in the National Day celebrations of Seychelles, marking the Golden Jubilee of the country’s Independence.
Describing the occasion as a tribute to the remarkable journey of the Seychellois people over the past 50 years, the Prime Minister congratulated the nation on achieving the historic milestone.
Modi reaffirmed India’s commitment to its longstanding partnership with Seychelles, stating that India is proud to stand alongside the island nation as a trusted friend and development partner.
He noted that bilateral relations continue to grow stronger through shared democratic values, close cooperation, and expanding people-to-people ties. Expressing confidence in the future of the relationship, the Prime Minister said the friendship between India and Seychelles would continue to deepen in the years ahead.
