PM Modi Inaugurates Grameen Bharat Mahotsav 2025: A Vision for Rural Empowerment

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Grameen Bharat Mahotsav 2025 today at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The event, themed “Building a Resilient Rural India for a Viksit Bharat 2047,” highlights the entrepreneurial spirit and cultural heritage of rural India.

Organized by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) under the Department of Financial Services, the Mahotsav will run from January 4 to 9, 2025. The event includes discussions, workshops, and masterclasses focused on enhancing rural infrastructure, fostering innovation, and promoting self-reliant rural economies.

Key Objectives of Grameen Bharat Mahotsav 2025:

  • Promoting economic stability and financial security among rural populations, with special emphasis on North-East India.
