PM Modi Declares ‘Operation Sindoor’ India’s Biggest Anti-Terror Strike, Sends Strong Warning to Pakistan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed Operation Sindoor as India’s largest and most successful counter-terrorism mission to date. Speaking at the Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Mahila Sashaktikaran Mahasammelan in Bhopal—an event marking the 300th birth anniversary of Queen Ahilyabai Holkar—PM Modi emphasized the operation’s historic impact and India’s unwavering resolve against terrorism.

Launched in response to the brutal April 22 Pahalgam attack that claimed the lives of 25 male tourists, Operation Sindoor saw Indian Air Force jets carry out precise missile strikes deep inside Pakistani territory, obliterating multiple terrorist camps. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh confirmed that over 100 militants were killed in the mission, which significantly escalated the ongoing 2025 India–Pakistan crisis.

In a no-nonsense warning to Pakistan, PM Modi declared, “If you fire bullets, rest assured they will be answered with cannon balls,” signaling a zero-tolerance approach to cross-border terrorism. He powerfully redefined sindoor—traditionally a symbol of feminine strength—as a new emblem of India’s valor and resistance to terror.

The Prime Minister also lauded the courage of women personnel in the Border Security Force, especially the all-women unit led by Assistant Commandant Neha Bhandari, who heroically defended forward posts in Akhnoor amid retaliatory shelling from Pakistan.

PM Modi’s speech served not only as a tribute to India’s brave hearts but also as a resounding assertion of national sovereignty. His message was clear: India will strike back harder and faster against any future act of aggression.
