NDA Ready for Wayanad Elections says Prasanth Malavayal

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has said it is fully prepared for the upcoming elections in Wayanad. NDA Chairman Prashant Malavayal said the alliance is aiming for victory this time, not just an increase in vote share. He was speaking at a meeting of election in-charges held in Kalpetta.

He said party leaders have already been given responsibilities in different areas and booth-level activities are actively progressing. According to him, the NDA has started election preparations early and is ahead in campaign activities. Prasanth also said that strong and popular candidates have been announced in the constituencies and that they are receiving good public support.

Criticising rival parties, he said voters have seen both the Indian National Congress and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) as being involved in corruption, and added that people are now supporting the NDA for its development-focused approach. Several leaders attended the meeting, including K. Sadanandan, T. M. Subeesh, M. P. Sukumaran and Ramachandran Aroda.
