New Delhi: The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare will organise the National Conference on Agriculture for Rabi Campaign 2026 on September 28-29 at the Bharat Ratna C. Subramaniam Auditorium, NASC Complex, Pusa, New Delhi.
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the two-day conference, which will bring together State Agriculture Ministers, senior officials, ICAR representatives and other stakeholders.
The conference will focus on strengthening Centre-State coordination and improving agricultural production, productivity, sustainability and farmers’ incomes during the Rabi season.
Key discussions will cover pulses and oilseeds, horticulture, natural farming, soil health, farm mechanisation, digital agriculture, crop insurance, irrigation, marketing reforms and farmer financing.
The second day will focus on the Rabi weather outlook, fertiliser availability, Farmer Registry, Digital Crop Survey, AgriStack, crop and seed status, and preparations for state-level agriculture plans.
