Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated Phase I of the Noida International Airport in Uttar Pradesh, calling it a major step in boosting connectivity and development. He said the airport will benefit several regions, including Agra, Mathura, and Meerut, and create opportunities for farmers, industries, and youth.
Modi highlighted that the project marks a new phase in the “Developed UP, Developed India” vision. He said the airport will strengthen global connectivity and economic growth. Referring to the ongoing West Asia crisis, he said the government is taking steps to ensure that rising fuel and supply issues do not affect common people.
The Prime Minister also pointed to recent infrastructure developments in the region, including metro expansion and freight corridors, as examples of rapid progress. He added that improved connectivity will help farmers and businesses access global markets more efficiently.
