KSRTC Reports ₹9.29 Crore Operational Revenue; Records Significant Rise in Daily Earnings

Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has reported a remarkable surge in its revenue, reflecting the positive impact of ongoing reforms and modernization efforts. On November 24, KSRTC achieved an operational revenue of ₹9.29 crore, marking the third-highest single-day revenue in its history.

This is the third time this year that KSRTC has crossed such a high revenue mark. The corporation’s highest-ever daily revenue was recorded on September 8, 2025, when it earned ₹10.19 crore. The second-highest revenue was reported on October 6, 2025, with ₹9.41 crore. The latest figure of ₹9.29 crore now stands next in line, KSRTC’s Managing Director said in a press release.

In a message shared on KSRTC’s official page, the Managing Director praised the collective effort behind the achievement, noting that “anything deemed impossible can be achieved through teamwork.” He also appreciated the dedication of employees, supervisors, and officers who ensured smooth service operations despite adverse weather conditions. The coordinated hard work across all units to maintain full service schedules played a crucial role in reaching this milestone.

KSRTC has been progressing by deploying maximum staff, reducing off-road buses, implementing efficient schedule planning, improving online reservation and passenger information systems, and introducing modern, passenger-friendly buses. These initiatives have significantly contributed to improving overall performance.

The management expressed heartfelt appreciation to all employees, supervisors, and officers for their exemplary teamwork and expressed confidence that KSRTC is on track to become a fully self-sufficient institution in the near future.
