Kottayam: In a tragic incident, a 42-year-old woman, identified as Shiny Kuriakose, and her two young daughters, Aleena (11) and Ivana (10), were found dead on railway tracks near Ettumanoor in Kerala. Police suspect that the three died by suicide after allegedly jumping in front of a moving train early Friday morning.
According to preliminary investigations, the family was facing personal issues, which may have led to the suspected suicide. However, the police have launched a detailed probe to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths.
Local authorities and railway officials rushed to the spot upon receiving information, and the bodies were shifted to a hospital for post-mortem examination. The police are also speaking to relatives and neighbors to gather more details about the family’s background and possible reasons behind the tragic event.
