Kerala has made its debut at the prestigious World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, with Industries Minister P. Rajeeve leading a high-powered delegation. The trip, which began on January 20, 2025, aims to showcase Kerala’s industrial strengths and attract international investors.
The delegation is focusing on key sectors including information technology, manufacturing, shipping, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and food processing. With over 25 meetings lined up over the next four days, Kerala is actively courting potential investors while inviting them to the Invest Kerala Global Summit, set to take place in Kochi on February 21 and 22.
At the India Pavilion, Kerala is putting the spotlight on its highly skilled workforce, as well as its burgeoning pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Minister Rajeeve is scheduled to deliver important speeches on “Investing in People – Reaping Economic Dividend” on January 22 and “Kerala as an Emerging Hub for Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology” on January 23.
This marks a significant step in Kerala’s efforts to position itself as a prime investment destination, strengthening international partnerships and promoting its diverse industrial landscape on the global stage.
