Kerala Plus One & VHSE Second Allotment List Out Today: Key Admission Updates for Students

Thiruvananthapuram: The Directorate of General Education, Kerala, is set to publish the Second Allotment List for Plus One and VHSE courses today, offering thousands of students a fresh chance at admission. This phase follows the first allotment released on June 2 and is strategically timed to ensure smooth admission processes before classes begin on June 18.

Around 11,860 candidates are expected to receive Plus One seats in this round, with a similar number for VHSE. Despite the first allotment, over 28,000 seats remain vacant and are now being filled through this phase.

Students allotted seats must confirm their admissions by June 11, by reporting to the respective schools with required documents. Those seeking to upgrade their choices can opt for temporary admission and wait for the third and final allotment on June 16.

To check their allotment, students should log in to hscap.kerala.gov.in for Plus One or vhscap.kerala.gov.in for VHSE using their application number, password, and date of birth.

This year, Kerala saw a seat expansion of over 81,000, bringing the total post-SSLC seats across Higher Secondary, VHSE, ITI, and Polytechnic streams to 5.46 lakh. With high competition and limited time, students are advised to act promptly and keep all necessary documents—SSLC mark sheet, TC, and passport-size photos—ready for verification.
