Kerala Plus One Admission 2025: 2.49 Lakh Students Secure Seats in First Allotment

In a significant milestone for the 2025–26 academic year, 2.49 lakh students have been allotted seats in the first round of Plus One admissions through Kerala’s Higher Secondary Centralized Admission Process (HSCAP). The results, published on June 2, 2025, mark a major step forward for students transitioning into higher secondary education.

The centralized single-window system, designed by the Department of General Education, ensures a fair and transparent process. Students allotted seats are required to confirm their admission by reporting to their respective schools with the required documents within the stipulated time.

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) has confirmed that additional allotment rounds will be held to accommodate more students and fill remaining vacancies. Those who didn’t make it in the first round still have a chance in the upcoming allotments.

Officials have urged students and parents to regularly check the HSCAP portal for updates and important deadlines.

This year’s high participation underscores the strong demand for seats across science, commerce, and humanities streams in both government and aided schools throughout the state.
