The Kerala High Court has expressed serious concern over alleged irregularities in the issuance of health cards to employees working at various establishments in Sabarimala and has directed that a police complaint be filed in the matter.
The court also instructed the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) to accept only health certificates issued by government medical officers in Kerala when hiring employees.
A bench comprising Justices Raja Vijayaraghavan V and K V Jayakumar directed the Superintendent of Police, Pathanamthitta District, to ensure that the complaint filed by the Health Inspector of Sannidhanam regarding the illegal health cards is properly investigated.
