Kerala High Court Bomb Threat Sparks Panic, Extensive Search Reveals No Danger

Kochi: A bomb threat at the Kerala High Court on Monday led to heightened security and a tense atmosphere, but a detailed inspection by police and bomb squads confirmed there was no real danger.

Acting swiftly on the alert, authorities cordoned off the area and deployed a dog squad and bomb detection experts to conduct a comprehensive sweep of the court premises. After a meticulous search, officials announced that no explosives or suspicious items were found.

The threat temporarily unsettled court operations and sparked concern among legal staff, visitors, and the general public. However, proceedings resumed shortly after the premises were declared safe.

Investigators are now working to trace the origin of the threat, which is being treated with utmost seriousness due to the court’s prominence. Police have not ruled out the possibility of it being a malicious hoax aimed at disrupting judicial activities.

The incident has raised questions about the security of critical institutions and reinforced the need for continued vigilance.
