Thiruvananthapuram: The State Delimitation Commission has completed the ward delimitation process for local bodies across Kerala, following a comprehensive review of petitions, complaints, and objections.
Officials said the exercise involved hearing all petitioners and examining every representation before finalising the ward boundaries. The process is aimed at ensuring fair representation and balanced voter distribution ahead of the upcoming local body elections.
The revised ward structure will come into effect once the final notification is issued, paving the way for the Election Commission to proceed with poll preparations.
