Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to completing the land acquisition process for Kannur International Airport on time.
In the first phase, 1,113.33 acres of land have already been acquired and handed over to Kannur International Airport Limited (KIAL). The second phase, involving the acquisition of 804.37 acres, is currently in progress, the CM stated. The expansion is expected to enhance the airport’s infrastructure and boost regional connectivity.
