Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala’s air remains largely clean, with the State Pollution Control Board rating overall air quality in the ‘satisfactory to good’ range.
To further strengthen pollution management, the state will soon launch a source apportionment study in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram to pinpoint major contributors to air pollution.
Officials said the findings will help design targeted strategies, ensuring Kerala continues on its path to cleaner air and improved public health.
