New Delhi: Indian Naval Ship Trishul, a frontline guided-missile stealth frigate, arrived at Valencia, Spain, on September 30 as part of its ongoing deployment to the Mediterranean, Atlantic and adjoining maritime regions.
During the port visit, the Indian Navy ship will participate in professional interactions, cross-deck visits, sporting activities and cultural engagements with the Spanish Navy. The activities are aimed at sharing operational experiences and strengthening mutual understanding between the two navies.
The visit is part of the Indian Navy’s continuing maritime engagement with friendly countries and partner navies. Earlier in the deployment, INS Trishul participated in the 24th edition of Exercise Varuna with the French Navy at Toulon, involving professional engagements during both harbour and sea phases.
The deployment reflects the Indian Navy’s focus on operational readiness, international cooperation and maritime outreach while contributing to a secure and stable maritime environment.
