The Indian Navy on Monday commissioned INS Nipun, a specialised deep-sea diving vessel equipped to support rapid submarine rescue operations.
The vessel was formally inducted into naval service at a ceremony in Mumbai, marking another step towards strengthening the Navy’s underwater rescue and deep-sea operational capabilities.
