India and Seychelles have announced an ambitious Joint Vision aimed at unlocking sustainable development, accelerating economic growth, and strengthening security cooperation through deeper bilateral and maritime linkages. The initiative reinforces the close partnership between the two Indian Ocean neighbours and highlights their shared commitment to regional stability and prosperity.
The roadmap focuses on cooperation in the blue economy, renewable energy, climate action, and sustainable tourism, alongside enhanced trade, digital connectivity, and people-to-people ties. India also reiterated its support to Seychelles in maritime security, defence collaboration, and capacity building, underscoring a common resolve to ensure peace and safety in the Indian Ocean region.
