Gold prices in Kerala rose sharply on today, with the price of 22-carat (916) gold increasing by ₹125 per gram.
Following the hike, 22-carat gold is priced at ₹13,475 per gram and ₹1,07,800 per sovereign (8 grams). The price of 18-carat gold has reached ₹11,130 per gram and ₹89,040 per sovereign.
Meanwhile, silver is priced at ₹250 per gram and ₹2,000 for 8 grams.
Jewellers attributed the rise to fluctuations in international gold prices and global market trends, advising buyers to check the latest rates before making purchases.
