Kochi: The unstoppable rally in gold prices continues, setting new records. Gold surged by ₹640 per sovereign today, pushing the price to an all-time high of ₹64,480. The price per gram also climbed ₹80, now standing at ₹8,060.
In just February, gold has witnessed a remarkable ₹2,520 increase per sovereign. Since breaching the ₹60,000 milestone on January 22, the yellow metal has now surpassed ₹64,000, with experts predicting a rapid march toward the ₹65,000 psychological threshold.
The global economic climate is fueling the price surge, with uncertainties in U.S. financial markets following Donald Trump’s return to power. As investors flock to gold as a safe-haven asset, the rally is expected to continue in the coming weeks.
