Kochi: Gold prices in Kerala have slightly dipped, with the price of one sovereign falling by ₹80 to ₹65,680, while the price per gram has dropped by ₹10 to ₹8,210.
After soaring past ₹65,000 on Friday, gold rates saw a slight correction over the weekend. Market experts cite stock market fluctuations and global economic trends as key factors influencing the dip.
Notably, on January 22, gold prices crossed ₹60,000 for the first time in history, followed by a sharp surge beyond ₹64,000 and ₹65,000. Despite the recent minor decline, gold continues to trade at record-high levels, indicating strong investor demand and market resilience.
