Gold Prices Hit Historic High of ₹66,320 in Kerala

Kochi: Gold prices in Kerala have skyrocketed to a record-breaking ₹66,320 per sovereign, marking an unprecedented surge in the market. With a ₹320 hike today, the price of one gram of gold now stands at ₹8,290, reflecting a ₹40 increase.

This milestone follows a steady upward trend, as gold touched ₹66,000 for the first time yesterday. Just last Friday, prices had breached the ₹65,000 mark, and the momentum shows no signs of slowing down. Experts point to global market trends and stock market fluctuations as key drivers behind the soaring prices.

Gold has been on a relentless climb since January 22, when it first crossed ₹60,000. Within weeks, it surged past ₹64,000, and now, with ₹66,000 in sight.
