Gold Prices Decline in Kerala After Recent Fluctuations

Gold prices in the state have declined after recent fluctuations in the market. The price of gold dropped to ₹13,265 per gram from ₹13,465 the previous day.

The price of one sovereign (8 grams) now stands at ₹1,06,120. Meanwhile, 18-carat gold is priced at ₹10,960 per gram, with 8 grams costing ₹87,680. Silver is being sold at ₹1,920 for 8 grams.

Despite the current dip, gold had reached a high of ₹1,26,920 per sovereign earlier this month.

Market experts say gold prices continue to be influenced by international rates, fluctuations in the dollar-rupee exchange rate, and import duties, leading to frequent changes in pricing.
