Fresh Wave of Protesters Swells Jantar Mantar After ‘Chalo Sansad’ March

New Delhi: A fresh wave of protesters from across the country gathered at Jantar Mantar on Wednesday, strengthening the ongoing sit-in protest two days after the ‘Chalo Sansad’ march.

Many participants arrived after overnight journeys by bus and train, entering the protest site carrying backpacks and rolled-up banners. Volunteers welcomed the new arrivals, guiding them to seating areas while distributing drinking water and food packets.

The demonstration saw people from all walks of life, including schoolchildren in uniform, college students, office-goers and elderly citizens. While some sat on the road listening to speeches from the stage, others assembled near police barricades, raising slogans and holding placards in support of the protest.

The continued influx of participants highlighted the sustained momentum of the protest, with organisers expecting more demonstrators to join in the coming days.
