Delhi High Court Gets Two New Judges; Total Strength Rises to 41

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has added two more judges to its bench, bringing the total strength to 41. The appointments follow the Supreme Court Collegium’s recommendation on February 5 to elevate judicial officers Renu Bhatnagar and Rajneesh Kumar Gupta.

The approval for their elevation was granted approximately two weeks after the recommendation, further strengthening the judiciary in the national capital. With this, the Delhi High Court moves closer to its sanctioned strength, ensuring smoother judicial proceedings and reducing the case backlog.
