Delhi Airport Allots Extra Slots to Foreign Airlines Amid West Asia Disruptions

Delhi airport operator Delhi International Airport Limited has allocated additional flight slots to select foreign airlines on a temporary basis due to disruptions linked to the West Asia crisis.

The move comes as capacity constraints have emerged at Indira Gandhi International Airport, the country’s busiest airport.

Sources said the extra slots have been granted for April and May to help manage rising passenger demand. Airlines such as KLM and Air Canada are among those benefiting from the arrangement. The temporary measure aims to ease travel disruptions and ensure smoother connectivity during the ongoing crisis.
