The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast continued rainfall in Bengaluru and surrounding areas over the next two days due to the cyclone’s impact.
Districts such as Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar, and Ramanagara are among the worst affected, with reports of waterlogging and disrupted transport services. Bengaluru has also witnessed consistent showers, impacting daily life.
The IMD has issued yellow and orange alerts for various regions in the state, warning of localized flooding and advising residents to stay cautious. Emergency teams and disaster management authorities are on high alert, ensuring swift responses to any adverse situations.
