New Delhi: The CBSE Class 12 board exam results are out, and this year sees an encouraging 88.39% pass rate — a slight but positive uptick from last year’s performance. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results officially on Friday.
In a continuing trend, girls have outperformed boys by a notable margin of 5%, reaffirming their academic edge, according to CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj. Vijayawada emerged as the top-performing region in the country, leading the charts with the highest success rate.
Students can check their scores by visiting the official CBSE portals — cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in — using their application number and date of birth. Meanwhile, around 1.29 lakh students have been placed in the compartment category, giving them a second chance to clear the exam through supplementary tests.
