CBI Arrests Five in NEET Question Paper Leak Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested five people in connection with the alleged NEET question paper leak case.

Three of the accused were arrested from Jaipur, while one person each was taken into custody from Gurugram and Nashik.

The arrested persons from Jaipur have been identified as Dinesh Bival, a Yuva Morcha worker, his brother Mangilal Bival, and Vikas Bival. Investigators said the accused allegedly paid Rs 30 lakh to obtain the leaked question paper.

The CBI registered the case following a complaint from the Higher Education Department and subsequently launched an investigation into the matter.

Officials said charges including criminal conspiracy, cheating and criminal breach of trust have been invoked against the accused.
