The highly anticipated Noida International Airport (IATA: DXN) in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh — set to become Asia’s largest greenfield airport — is preparing to launch international flight operations in the first half of 2026.
Before taking to the global skies, the airport will start with domestic flight services as early as December 2025, operating under a limited daytime schedule. Once systems are fully tested and 24-hour operations stabilise, international services will commence, marking a new chapter in India’s aviation growth story.
Leading carriers such as IndiGo, Air India Express, and Akasa Air are expected to be among the first to operate from the new hub.
Designed to ease congestion at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) and boost aviation connectivity in the National Capital Region, the project follows a phased rollout model — beginning with daytime domestic flights, transitioning to round-the-clock operations, and finally expanding to international routes.
With its massive scale and cutting-edge infrastructure, Noida International Airport is poised to become a landmark in India’s aviation landscape and a template for next-generation airport development across Asia.
