Amul Clears the Air: Denies Supplying Ghee to Tirupati Temple Amid ‘Animal Fat in Laddoo’ Scandal

New Delhi: Amid growing controversy over the alleged presence of animal fat in the iconic laddoos served at the Tirumala Tirupati temple, Amul has stepped forward to refute any connection to the claims.

In a clear and firm statement, Amul clarified that it never supplied ghee to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) and assured that its ghee is made exclusively from “high-quality pure milk fat” at its own production facilities. The company also highlighted its long-standing reputation for purity, distancing itself from the scandal surrounding the sacred prasadam.

This clarification from Amul comes as concerns among devotees escalated, with many questioning the quality of ingredients used in the famous temple laddoos. Amul’s response is aimed at putting to rest any doubts regarding its products and reinforcing its commitment to maintaining uncompromised standards.
