Amit Shah Visits Jammu & Kashmir for Two Days, Signals Concern Over Regional Stability

Jammu: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has embarked on a two-day visit to Jammu & Kashmir, highlighting the central government’s focus on the region amid rising concerns over political and security stability.

Senior Congress leader and legislator Tariq Hameed Karra remarked that Shah’s frequent visits indicate that “things are not normal in J&K.” During his stay, the Home Minister is expected to hold high-level meetings with local officials and security agencies to review law-and-order measures and ongoing development initiatives.

Analysts suggest that Shah’s visit underscores the government’s attention to addressing governance and stability issues, with both political and security developments likely to dominate discussions.
