Kalpatta, Aug 10 (IVC) The Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi said here today that “all possible assistances would be rendered to Kerala for rehabilitation and protection of victims of the landslides in Wayanad on July 30.
The Central Government’s approach towards Kerala at this time of pain and affliction emanated out of landslides would be liberal, he added, paucity of funds would not be a stumbling block for the rehabilitation and protection of the victims of the landslides.
“Kerala would not be alone at this juncture, but the country as a whole would be with Kerala”. “ We cannot avoid the natural calamities like the landslides, but it is our bounden duty to rehabilitate its victims”, Prime Minister emphasized.
He was speaking after attending a review meeting at the collectorate here , after paying a visit to the locations of landslides. The Prime Minister left at 1700 hours for New Delhi.
