A. Pradeep Kumar Appointed as Private Secretary to Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan

Thiruvananthapuram – Senior CPI(M) leader and former MLA A. Pradeep Kumar has been appointed as the private secretary to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. A prominent member of the CPI(M) state committee, Pradeep Kumar steps into the role vacated by K.K. Ragesh, who was recently appointed as the CPI(M) Kannur district secretary.

Known for his strong political presence and administrative experience, Pradeep Kumar previously served as an MLA from Kozhikode North constituency. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the Chief Minister’s office with a seasoned party loyalist.

K.K. Ragesh, also a former Rajya Sabha MP, had been serving as the CM’s private secretary since the second Pinarayi Vijayan government assumed office in 2021. With Ragesh taking up an important role in the party organization, the transition reflects ongoing reshuffles within the CPI(M)’s leadership and administrative framework.

The appointment of Pradeep Kumar signals the party’s trust in experienced hands to assist the Chief Minister in managing both governance and political coordination.
