Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has once again achieved a remarkable financial feat, recording its second-highest single-day ticket revenue. On October 6, KSRTC collected an impressive ₹9.41 crore, signaling strong passenger support and a steady revival in operations, Transport Minister K. B. Ganesh Kumar announced.
The all-time record remains ₹10.19 crore, set on September 8, but the latest figures reaffirm KSRTC’s upward trajectory.
Minister Ganesh Kumar praised the dedication of employees, supervisors, and officers, crediting their teamwork for the corporation’s consistent success. Minister noted that the launch of new buses and enhanced service quality have attracted more passengers and strengthened public confidence in the state-run transport system.
With focused operational improvements and collective commitment, KSRTC continues to accelerate toward sustained financial growth and passenger satisfaction.
