Prime Minister Modi Expresses Gratitude to the People as PM Enters 25th Year in Public Office

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of India as he completed 24 years in public office and entered his 25th consecutive year as the head of a government — a rare milestone in Indian politics.

Modi, who first took charge as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001, has been serving as the Prime Minister of India since 2014. Marking the occasion, he shared a message thanking citizens for their trust, support, and blessings, calling the journey “a sacred mission dedicated to the service of the nation.”

Reflecting on his political journey, Modi said that his only motivation has been to work tirelessly for India’s development and upliftment of its people. He credited the citizens for their “unwavering faith” that has kept him committed to transforming India across all sectors — from infrastructure and technology to social welfare and global diplomacy.

Leaders across party lines and citizens on social media lauded Modi’s two-and-a-half decades of uninterrupted governance, highlighting his leadership, reforms, and ability to connect with the masses.

As PM begins his 25th year in governance, Modi reaffirmed his resolve to continue serving the nation with the same energy and dedication, pledging to make “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) a reality in the coming years.
