Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly selected candidates across various Central government departments during the 16th Rozgar Mela on July 12. The event, to be conducted via video conferencing at 11 AM, will be held simultaneously at 47 locations nationwide.
The appointees will join key ministries including Railways, Home Affairs, Health, Posts, Financial Services, and Labour & Employment, among others. Launched in October 2022, the Rozgar Mela initiative has already issued over 10 lakh job letters, reaffirming the government’s strong focus on employment generation, youth empowerment, and nation-building.
Marking one of the largest single-day government recruitment drives in India, this edition of Rozgar Mela underscores the Centre’s commitment to streamlining public sector hiring and enhancing administrative efficiency across the country.
