ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) workers in Kerala have announced plans to intensify their ongoing protest by inviting all women in the state to join them on International Women’s Day, March 8.
Speaking to reporters, the workers emphasized that their demands for better wages, job security, and recognition of their contributions to the healthcare system have long been ignored. To amplify their voices, they are calling for a united women’s movement across Kerala.
The protest is expected to gain significant momentum as women from various sectors stand in solidarity with ASHA workers, highlighting broader issues of fair pay and gender equality in the workforce.
