Kerala Education Department Takes Legal Action Against YouTuber for Urging Students to Skip School

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala General Education Department has initiated legal proceedings against a YouTuber who allegedly encouraged students to skip school. The move comes after concerns that such content could negatively impact students’ academic discipline and attendance.

Education Minister V. Sivankutty strongly condemned the act, emphasizing that school attendance is mandatory, especially for exams. He warned against any attempts to mislead students and disrupt the education system.

The department has also urged parents and students to be cautious about misleading online content. Authorities are expected to take further action to prevent similar incidents in the future.
